Hi, I’m Mardi.
I’ve spent over 25 years working in the divorce world. First as a litigating divorce attorney. Now as a mediator, nervous system coach, and guide for people who want to do this differently.
I’ve sat across the table from thousands of people in the hardest moments of their lives. I’ve watched smart, capable adults unravel not because they weren’t prepared, but because their nervous systems were overwhelmed.
I also know this from the inside.
I’ve been divorced. I’ve co-parented through conflict. I’ve lived the emotional aftershocks that don’t magically disappear when the paperwork is signed.
What I learned, both personally and professionally, is that divorce isn’t just a legal process. It’s a full-body experience.
What I came to understand is this: it’s not the calmest person in the room who has the most influence. It’s the most regulated nervous system.
